Tuition fees cover approximately 25% of the cost of running the LAGC program.
The balance of the funds are raised through fund raising by members and parents,
and donations from members of the community, corporations, foundations, the
cities of Fargo and Moorhead, the state of North Dakota and parents. We work
hard to keep expenses as low as possible without jeopardizing the integrity
and quality of the program. LAGC expenses include artistic and executive
personnel salaries, rehearsal and concert facility rental, office rent, mailings,
concert promotion, print music, supplies, social activity expenses, insurance,
awards, Fall Camp expenses, festivals, tours, etc.
Hearts in Harmony
Please consider supporting the choir through a Hearts in Harmony donation.
The Hearts in Harmony club is a voluntary fund-raising organization whose
aim is to support the general operating budget of the Lake Agassiz Girls
Choir. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
All of the elements that are critical to the success of the LAGC program must
be privately funded. Contribution levels range from $25 - $100. Contributions
can be mailed to: LAGC, PO Box 773, Fargo, ND 58107-0773.
Scholarship Fund
Please consider donating to our scholarship fund. Scholarships are awarded
on need basis and the availability of funds. An executive committee reviews
the applications and keeps financial information confidential.
